Vintage Padded Wooden Toboggan 6FT Sled.
This would be a great display piece at a lodge, hotel, or on the porch at your chalet in the mountains.  Want to avoid the shipping charge and pick-up locally in Collegeville, PA?  That is an option.
This vintage Toboggan sled is in very good condition as you can see by the photos.  Please see description below to see more details about the history of this sled.  This sled came from my grandparents' estate and my mom has very fond memories of riding it in the 1950's with her Dad (My Grandfather).  The sled is approx 6ft long and 17.5" wide.
Here's what my Mom has to say about this sled:
I have very fond memories of this toboggan. It's much older than I am, so it's very old!!! As a young child, I watched my dad apply hot wax to the back of this toboggan, and that gave us a really fast ride down the hill!! Notice that there is still some wax on it. The last time this toboggan was used for a ride was in the 1960's. Since then, it has been stored inside, first at my parents' house and then later at our house and used for indoor display. It would probably give you a thrilling ride, if you want to use it to slide down the hill!
