    Description

    1950's "Lightning Guider" 51-inch steel rails wood snow sled.
    Handles allow skewing of the metal rails for turning. Has a rope for towing. There are holes in the handle ends for tying ropes so could steer while sitting upright (but I was always laying down).
    The green "Lightning Guider" and the red lightning bolts markings are faded/worn from a lot of use. Metal is patina'd.
    Has been in my family since new. My memories of sledding down snowy hills is that this is a fast sled.
