U.S.A. Airborne Tab. Cut Edge. No Glow.

I have on occasion the ability to find very nice antiques through my estate sales,  auctions, and this is one of them. This is an original, Early Vietnam Era (Mid 60's), American, Airborne tab.
This is a 100% period patch with cut edge and is made of cotton/synthetic thread on a base twill material.
It passes a black light test however, This patch has both synthetic and cotton thread in its construction. This is why I place the construction period around mid 60's.  Nice example. This is a classic example why a black light test is inconclusive. Anyway, it is a mid 60's constructed patch with both cotton and synthetic thread present. Cut edge. Tab measures approx: Approx: 2 3/8 inches wide from attachment points at bottom of tab. Keep in mind that are are about five different sizes of tabs so always measure the patch you are looking to attach to a tab so you purchase the right one. Cut edge with no glow Airborne Tabs are getting hard to find...especially, original WWII examples have become quite scarce. This tab will work as a substitute WWII Airborne tab provided the size of your patch fits the width of this tab. This tab is for someone who needs a temp airborne tab, doesn't want to spend - for an original, (Or spend the time trying to find a ORIGINAL) or, for re-enactors. (Note: The picture of the tab is a representation of the tab you will receive. I have many of these and they all come from the same embroidery sheet so there is no need to photograph each tab.)
