Here we have an
Antique JOHNSON & LUND Dentist Tooth Extractor Forceps Pliers, also marked: BUTLERS, PHILA PA.
Frederick Johnson and Oliver Lund stared their dental instrument manufacturing and supply company in Chicago, IL in 1862 and then moved to Philadelphia, PA in 1872 and operated into the early 1900's. This instrument is marked on one side by this maker.  It is also marked on the flip side: BUTLERS PHILA PA. I could not find any info on BUTLERS.  Possibly, Johnson & Lund supplied the instrument to BUTLERS which was maybe a distributor? This forceps is in very good condition with a nickel-plated surface which is showing wear. It is also marked '35'.  It is approx. 7-1/2"L. It would make a great addition to your Dental Instrument Collection !
