Antique Archer Dentist Barber Chair, Industrial Steam Punk, Turn of the Century

Offered is a spectacular Antique Dentist Chair or Barber Chair made by Archer Chairs.  I could not find a date on this chair, but it certainly goes back to the turn of the century!  I found a similar looking chair on Google that read 1879.  This Steam Punk Industrial Dentist chair is made of heavy metal.  It measures about 43" tall and 44" wide including the foot extension.  It's about 27" wide.  It is marked on the frame of the seat "592."  It has adjustable neck supports.  It has a lever to recline the chair.  It also has a lever to lock the swivel option.  It has a retractable cast iron leg rest.  Check out the very cool legs on this chair!  It is not the usual pedestal, but it has feet!  It has been reupholstered, but the reupholstery job is older, possibly the 1950's or so.  The tacks used to reupholster are ornate and old. The hydraulics are presently not working on this chair.  The guy I bought it from said it worked when he bought it, so I am looking to see if I am doing something wrong to raise the chair.  Right now, I'm selling it in non-working order.  If I get the hydraulics to work, I will update the status.  The very cool part to this chair is that there is paperwork attached to the bottom of the chair pad.  It is ripped and some is missing, but it does identify the chair as an Archer chair.  (see pics).
